When a user performs some action on the part of the computer, such as clicking a file it is triggered and the virus lies in wait for a command or certain date to deliver its payload, sometimes harmless and other times overwhelming.   Downloading or receiving files from a untrusted websites or installing free screen savers can will insert virus into the computer. Some other softwares such as hacking tools,  AOL4FREE.exe also contains virus. Just think twice before downloading from any unpopular torrent sites. Also some web designers intentionally make websites which contains virus. If you open those sites they will start their novel work and you will start banging your head. So use anti- virus having internet security option which will block the virus from that site.

A worm is a sub-categorization of a virus. A worm contains a small computer program that can replicate itself. Like a real worm it shakes its way back and forth through a computer system or network until it finds its way onto the internet. Many worms have closed corporate America for some days. As these worms had generated large volume of incoming and outgoing e-mails, the e-mail systems of Microsoft, IBM and other large businesses had literally collapsed. Once the user connects to the internet the worm starts its action e-mailing itself to the user's family, friends, colleagues and any other e-mail address it came across on the user's system or network and the most important thing is that the user is unaware of this thing. How To Remove Autorun Virus Using Command Prompt

Want to remove Autorun Virus from your pendrive or other drives?

Just follow the steps to do it:
 
1)Click the “Start” button and go to “Run“. Otherwise you can also press “Windows+R“ and type “cmd” there.

After Opening The CMD Type the following commands.

• Type “<Drive_name>:” in CMD(command prompt) and hit “Enter“. (“Drive_name” is where the problem occurs, it may be any USB drive. For Example Type f: )
• Type “attrib” and hit “Enter“. (This will show the files that are present in the currently working directory. OR you can also use the command “dir/w/o/a/p“)
• If there are any autorun.inf then go for next steps else the drive is not affected with any autorun.inf file.
• Type “attrib -h -r -s -a *.* ” then hit “Enter“  (This command will remove the Hidden, Read Only, System and Archive attributes over any file)
• After completing the previous step you can see the files.  So you can delete the file now.
• Type “del autorun.inf” in the Command Prompt and hit “Enter“.

Now your drive is free for autorun virus.. Enjoy!!...

Auto Driving Car Made By Google

Google which is known more for its search engine and e-mail service, has packed the first licence in the US to test self-driving cars along busy public roads in Nevada.. Officials of the Department of Motor Vehicles in Nevada(California) said they have issued Google the nation's first licence to test an autonomous vehicle that does not need a driver on its public streets..

Google’s mission is "to organize the world’s information and make it universally accessible and useful". Their next step into that realm is making auto driving cars.. The Google Blog announced Google has “developed technology for cars that can drive themselves.” O yes, autodriving cars, likein the movies and high tech TV shows... :)
Google’s reasoning behind this move is to make the roads safer and reduce accidents.. Previously i had posted about cyber crime. Now i am posting about its punishments.

Cybercrime must be dealt with very seriously because it causes a lot of damage to businesses and the actual punishment should depend on the type crime and damage by it.

The penalty for illegally accessing a computer ranges from 6 months to 5 years.. The penalty for the unofficial modification on a computer ranges from 5 to 10 years.. Other penalties are listed below:

1. Telecommunication service theft:-  The theft of telecommunication services is a very common theft and is punished with a huge fine and imprisonment..

2. Communications intercept crime:- This is a Class-D crime which is followed by a severe punishment of 1 to 5 years of imprisonment with  fine. Other cyber crimes like telecommunication piracy, offensive material dissemination, and other cyber frauds also belong to this category.. 

Information Technology Act-2000: According to this act different penalties are available for different crimes. Some of the penalties are as follows

3. Computer source document tampering-: The person who changes the source code on the website or any computer program will get a punishment up to 3 years of imprisonment/fine..

  

4. Computer hacking:- The individual who hacks the computer or computer devices will get an imprisonment up to 3 years or  fine.

5. Government protected system:- An act of trying to gain access to a system which is a protected system by the government will result in imprisonment for 10 years and a heavy fine

The introduction of such penalties have lead to a drastic reduction in the cyber crime rates as more and more criminals are becoming aware of the penalties related to them.. Spreading the word about the penalties of cyber crime can serve as a deterrent against crime.
