Mobile Phone Virus Protection

 http://cdn.redmondpie.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/iPhoneVirusCreatesaBotnet_2828/iPhoneVirus.jpg
What is a mobile phone virus??
A mobile phone virus is similar to a computer virus.. You all know what a computer does and what those viruses are capable of... A mobile phone virus is specially designed for it and it spreads from one vulnerable cell phone to another..

    Viruses now a-days are quite advanced than the initial periods of its history in cell phones.. They can corrupt your important data or simply erase it, if it has infected your phone.. The latest viruses are capable of sending fake messages or even spreading by itself through the mode of bluetooth.. The current security risk has increased to a considerable level than it used to be 4-5 years back...

     Today many smart phones or PDAs are in use, and users of these phones are regularly exchanging executable or other vulnerable files increasing the risk of being infected.. The cellular industry takes the threat of viruses very seriously and is continually monitoring its networks and working to protect users from any future risk from new viruses...

Common modes of spreading of viruses:-

1) Bluetooth
2)MMC Card
3)Internet

How to protect your phone from viruses:
-
1. Always keep your bluetooth switched off unless required.. Or it is preferable to keep your handset to hidden mode unless you need it to be visible...

2. If by chance you have forgotten to switch off your bluetooth, remember not to open any bluetooth messages or files sent by a stranger or an unknown source.. They are most likely viruses...

3. Only download content from trusted sources.. Trusted sources include operator portals and other well known websites that offer adequate protection against viruses...

4. Always install an antivirus software in your phone.. Do not forget to keep it updated as new viruses and threats always arise...

5. Never lend your memory card to anyone.. It might get infected if the person to whom you have lent you MMC has infected his phone and he/she inserts your card in his phone.. Also remember not to insert someone else's MMC in your handset since there are chances of his MMC containing a virus or malware...

How to create password to a folder in windows 7 ??

This tutorial will guide you through the steps required to create a locked folder in Windows 7  without installing any additional 3rd party software.. :)
While the steps below will guide you in creating a hidden and password protected folder, this method is not 100% secure. It will deter the average computer user enough, but an advanced user will be able to access the contents of this folder...
  1. Create a new folder and name it whatever you would like..

  2. Open the folder, right-click on a blank area in it, then select New > Text Document from the pop-up menu...

  3. Open the text file you just created by double-clicking it and copy/paste in the following text:..
    cls
    @ECHO OFF
    title Folder Private
    if EXIST "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" goto UNLOCK
    if NOT EXIST Private goto MDLOCKER
    :CONFIRM
    echo Are you sure you want to lock the folder(Y/N)
    set/p "cho=>"
    if %cho%==Y goto LOCK
    if %cho%==y goto LOCK
    if %cho%==n goto END
    if %cho%==N goto END
    echo Invalid choice.
    goto CONFIRM
    :LOCK
    ren Private "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
    attrib +h +s "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
    echo Folder locked
    goto End
    :UNLOCK
    echo Enter password to unlock folder
    set/p "pass=>"
    if NOT %pass%== PASSWORD_GOES_HERE goto FAIL
    attrib -h -s "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}"
    ren "Control Panel.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D}" Private
    echo Folder Unlocked successfully
    goto End
    :FAIL
    echo Invalid password
    goto end
    :MDLOCKER
    md Private
    echo Private created successfully
    goto End
    :End
  4. In the above code, replace the key PASSWORD_GOES_HERE with the password you want to use to unlock the folder. For example if you want the password to be 123456, the line should look like....
    if NOT %pass%== 123456 goto FAIL
  5. Save your new file in the .bat format with the complete file name being locker.bat. To do this, make sure to change the Save as type: to All Files   (*.*).

  6. In the folder you created back in Step #1, double click the locker.bat file and there will now be a new folder named Private where you can put anything you want....

  7. Upon exiting, double click the locker.bat file again. It will prompt you to answer whether you want to lock your folder or not. Press Y and the private folder will disappear....

  8. In order to retrieve the Private folder, all you have to do is double click the locker.bat file and enter the password which you set in Step-4 and the folder will appear again for you to access...

  9. That’s it!!! :)

How to hack facebook password

I will cover 4 methods over here:

1. Facebook Phishing
2. Keylogging
3. Social engineering
4. Primary email address hack
5. Facebook Cookie Stealing

1.Facebook phishing:
I have taken this method first because this is the most popular method of hacking facebook. I watched various facebook surveys taken on web about hacking facebook. The results of these surveys show "Phishing" as the most used method to hack facebook and to note…"Phishing is favorite method of facebook hackers". So, friends.. beware of facebook Phishing. Facebook staff is working to avoid these Facebook phishers. Phishing not only allows you to hack Facebook but also almost any email account. You have to only get the trick used to make a phisher.. But, remember, this is only for educational purpose..

2.Keylogging:

This is  second favorite, as only thing you have to do is remotely install a keylogger application (if you don't have any physical access to victim computer). Keylogging becomes more easy if you have physical access to victim computer as only thing you have to do is install a keylogger and direct it to your destination so that it will send all recorded keystrokes to pointed destination.  A keylogger  records the keystrokes into a log file and then you can use these logs to get required Facebook password and thus can hack facebook password..

3. Social engineering:

This sounds to be pretty not working at the beginning..  I think many of you might be knowing  what is social engineering For newbies, social engineering is method of retrieving password or answer of security question simply be querying with the victim. You have to be very careful while using this as victim must not be aware of your intention. Just ask him cautiously using your logic...

4.Primary email address hack:
i found these Facebook hacking methods as best and working ways to hack facebook account passwords I will appreciate your effort if you mention any other Facebook hacking method..

5. Facebook Cookie Stealing:

I am updating this post with a new method which is being used to hack facebook accounts, which I think is very effective, Facebook cookie stealing is becoming popular day by day.The cookie which facebook uses to authenticate it's users is called 'Datr', If a hacker can get hold of your authentication cookies, All he needs to do is to inject those cookies in his browser and he will gain access to your account. This is how a facebook authentication cookie looks like ;

Cookie: datr=1276721606-b7f94f977295759399293c5b0767618dc02111ede159a827030fc;

How to install Windows 8 Developer Preview

If you have a  laptop/PC with nothing you need on the hard disk, then install Windows 8 Developer Preview to see how it performs.It should run on just about any modern system, if a computer supports Windows 7 it should run Windows 8 as well without any problem. And this will let you experience some impressive features like the super-fast boot time.

1. Downloading Windows 8

Site to download windows 8- Click Here

The Developer Preview is a huge download, a minimum of 2.8GB.

If you are going to install Windows 8 on a laptop or PC then you will want to burn the ISO file to disc. Windows 7 can do this itself , if you are using XP or Vista, grab a third-party tool like ImgBurn to create it for you..
ImgBurn

2. Installing Windows 8

Installing the Developer Preview on a physical PC is simple,  just burn your ISO image to a disc, boot your system from it, and follow the instructions (just like installing previous versions of Windows).
VirtualBox,  requires a little more work...
Launch the program. Then click New > Next. Give the virtual machine a name(like Windows 8), select Microsoft Windows as the operating system, Other Windows as the version..
Click Next and choose how much RAM you'd like the virtual machine to have. Give it 1024MB, then keep clicking Next, accepting the default settings until the wizard is complete...
Now right click the new virtual machine  and click Settings -> Storage. Right-click 'IDE Controller', click 'Add CD/DVD' > Choose Disk, point the program at your Developer Preview ISO file and click Open..
Right click the other CD icon, labelled 'Empty', and click Remove > OK..
Double click the new virtual machine to launch it, click OK to clear the mouse capture message, press a key when you are prompted to boot from the disc  and the installation process will begin..
VirtualBox
EASY: Straightforward wizards make it quick and easy to set up VirtualBox

3. First steps in Windows 8

Once setup is complete PC will reboot to launch Windows 8 for the first time. The installation disc will ask you to 'press any key' to boot from it but don't, otherwise you'll start the installation again.
Remove the disc from your PC once Windows 8 has loaded or in VirtualBox, return to the virtual machine's Storage settings when you have next closed it down, rightclick the ISO file (under the IDE Controller) and select Remove..
Back at Windows 8, you will open on the lock screen. Hold down the left mouse button and drag upwards, or just use the mouse scroll wheel to reveal the logon window. Enter the password you created earlier and click Submit..
In just a few seconds you will see the Metro interface appear, with tiles for Explorer,  Control Panel and more. But before you use those, click Desktop to see the old-style Windows desktop. Right-click this, select Screen Resolution, and make sure you're using the highest resolution available on your system..
Windows 8 desktop
VIEW DESKTOP: The traditional desktop is still available - just click the Desktop tile to launch it
When you are done, move your mouse to the bottom-left corner and click the Start button.. This won't launch the Start menu - that's gone now  but instead displays the main screen.. You can also press the Windows key on your keyboard to return here at any time..
